Patrick and Andy are separating themselves from the crowd with Grosjean and Hulkenberg respectively. Chris and Drewe are the only two picking less than the maximum seven from Formula One, with Chris trying four from NASCAR and Drewe five (which makes him the only player gunning for the full 374 points that a 5:5 split offers).

  1. It’ll be interesting to see how Keselowski fairs because Texas isn’t a circuit he’s had any previous form on.

  2. Last year, Keselowski got some great results, but mixed with too many bad results (reaching the Chase through wins not points). This year, he has found the consistancy the top drivers need. The problem is that he has so few results for each venue and most of them in his hit-and-miss inexperienced years, so I do not pick him. For the nine 1·5 mile oval results this year, he has a TMRG-points average of 25·4, which is not at all bad, maybe a bit low if picking just three drivers, but he is improving.

  3. I’ve noticed I’ve been happier to pick Keselowski more than you. I’m comfortable allowing him leeway for his inexperienced years impacting on his prior track form compared with rivals while also acknowledging that he’s been pretty sharp this year, especially in the lead up to the Chase. But even then, I was still a lot drivers away from considering him around Texas: Never top 10, average finish of 22nd in last 9 races at the track.

Now I’ve said that, he’ll only go and win the damn thing. :)

  4. I will be happy to consider picking Keselowski, just as soon as I have five more years of statistics on him. :)
